HT 3 Acupuncture Point

Heart 3, Abbreviated as HT 3, Transliterated Shaohai in Chinese, Lesser Sea in English.

HT 3 Acupuncture Point Location:

When the elbow is flexed, the point is at the midpoint of the line connecting the medial end of the transverse cubital crease and the medial epicondyle of the humerus.

HT 3 Acupuncture Point Indications:

  • Cardiac pain, spasmodic pain and numbness of the elbow and arm, hand tremor
  • Scrofula, pain in the axillary and hypochondrium, eye redness, toothache
